The CBD Brand that Actually Does What It Says

CBD is having a moment and CBD brands are everywhere right now. But with so many options, it can be tough to know what to look for – and which brands actually follow through on their claims.

That’s where CBDistillery sets itself apart. For the past decade, all of CBDistillery's products have been made with non-GMO, US-grown industrial hemp and with 100% clean ingredients – no corn syrup or artificial colors, flavors, preservatives or sweeteners.

They frequently introduce new and innovative products formulated to meet a variety of wellness needs and customer preferences. And every single batch of CBDistillery’s gummies, oil tinctures, topicals and softgels are tested by an independent, accredited lab to make sure what’s in the package matches what’s on the label.

Right now, CBDistillery is offering our readers a special deal: save 50% on orders of $75 or more with code NEWS50!

The month of October 2026 is a historic month in recent cinema for me. Because I cannot think of the last time where I wanted to watch so many films in the month of October. Usually I tend to skip this month because I'm not really into the spooky stuff but as you'll see from the list below there is plenty for people to watch from family films to suspense to documentaries and a little bit of horror. Check it out and let us know what stuff you're most looking forward to in our latest poll.

If you would like to watch or listen you can check out episode 173 of The Musty Creative Podcast on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and or Spotify.

Now and Upcoming

The Social Reckoning (October 9)

Follows Frances Haugen, a young Facebook engineer, who enlisted the help of Jeff Horwitz, a Wall Street Journal reporter, to blow the whistle on the social network's most guarded secrets. This is technically a sequel to The Social Network which released in 2010, 16 years ago! You don’t need to watch the first film because we all have Facebook accounts.

Wildwood (October 23)

Based on the novel of the same name, Wildwood is an upcoming American stop-motion animated dark fantasy film co-produced and directed by Travis Knight and written by Chris Butler, based on Colin Meloy and Carson Ellis's 2011 novel. Produced by Laika who have made Coraline and Kubo and the Two Strings.

Verity (October 2)

Also based on a novel and features novelists. Writers writing about writers! What a world we live in lol! Starring Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson in a suspense film that might get an Oscar nomination.

You Can See Everything (October 16)

Le piece de résistance this is the film that I am most excited to watch this month and hopefully we all get to see it and have lots to say about this crazy documentary about Elizabeth Holmes.

Klara and the Sun (October 23)

Klara is an artificial intelligence friend who wants nothing more than to find the perfect home. Let us see if Jenna Ortega has range outside of Netflix's very successful Wednesday series.

Clayface (October 23)

A straight up horror film coming out of a superhero franchise namely DC. I believe this film is a part of the DCU so will we see a mention of Superman or Batman? I'm not sure but this is the main horror film I will be watching this month.

Street Fighter (October 16)

Let's go! A fun film maybe family friendly with our favorite fighting characters from the super Nintendo days. A new iteration of Chung Lee, Ryu, and Ken are here so… let them fight!

Final Words

May the sun shine bright on your face as you journey through life and never forget, we’re all a little musty.
